Through our South Florida Spirit Fund, Cheer & Dance Fort Lauderdale raises money for locally-based charities that advocate for equality for the LGBTQ+ community. Each year, our members select a new charity to be the recipient of the South Florida Spirit Fund. The team fundraises throughout the year before presenting the South Florida Spirit Fund Donation to our beneficiary.

In the last year, Cheer Fort Lauderdale has worked hard to support our local LGBTQ+ community in South Florida. Cheer and Dance Fort Lauderdale will continue to work hard in our role as a certified 501(c)3 nonprofit team of all volunteer members.

Cheer and Dance Fort Lauderdale is proud to support SunServe as the 2022 beneficiary of our South Florida Spirit Fund. SunServe recognizes that the entire LGBTQ+ community has the right to quality care, their mission is to provide critical life assistance and professional mental health services with an emphasis on economically disadvantaged, marginalized youth, adults and seniors in the greater South Florida metropolitan area.
